Nicki Minaj is supporting Republican Mitt Romney, or at least that’s what she says in the latest mix tape called “Mercy" on Lil Wayne’s latest mix tape. Republican nominee Mitt Romney will focus on energy, cutting the deficit and growing small businesses to spur 12 million new jobs in America. Something the economy needs today. Nicki Minaj agrees with those values; the economy is the number one problem in the US and this Trinidadian-born American rapper, singer, songwriter, and voice actress agrees with Mitt Romney.

Minaj has been noted by the media for her curvaceous figure. In an interview with Vibe Minaj discussed her sexual image stating, "when I grew up I saw females doing certain things, and I thought I had to do that exactly. The female rappers of my day spoke about sex a lot... and I thought that to have the success they got, I would have to represent the same thing". When in fact I didn’t have to represent the same thing." In an interview with Interview, Minaj commented on her sexual image again stating, "I made a conscious decision ,try to tone down the sexiness, I want people especially young girls—to know that in life, nothing is going to be based on sex appeal.This may be why Nicki is going in the direction of understanding that many Americans are hurting financially.“I’m A Republican voting for Mitt Romney, you lazy b------s are f------ up the economy,” Minaj raps in a track called “Mercy" on Lil Wayne’s latest mix tape.
